Our History
Welcome to River Side Rascals:Â Nonprofit Childcare Center
Founded as a community-focused nonprofit in 2006, River Side Rascals began with a simple vision from a group of local moms in need of childcare. They wanted to provide a nurturing environment where every child could thrive. Over 20 years, we have grown into a trusted home for families, accepting state childcare assistance and utilizing grants to keep tuition affordable for all. Our journey is defined by a commitment to accessibility and a deep belief that every child deserves a place where they can play, grow, and belong.

Located right off the Missouri River in Chamberlain, SD. River Side Rascals operates Monday through Friday year-round with major holidays closed. We are governed by 5 volunteer Board of Directors in collaboration with our Executive Director. For more information please see options below.
