Questions, Concerns & Grievances

We encourage families to speak up if they have any questions or concerns about our center. We promise to listen, respond, and work together toward a solution, and rest assured that raising a concern will never affect the quality of care your child receives.

Steps for Grievance

1. Talk with your child’s teacher: Most questions and concerns can be solved best and fastest by speaking directly with your child’s teacher.

2. Contact the Executive Director: If you need further help, please contact our Executive Director at CEO@riversiderascals.org or (605) 234-2000. The Director will listen, investigate, and work with you on a plan.

3. If still unresolved, contact our Board or licensing agency: You may email our Board of Directors at Grievance@riversiderascals.org.

4. Lastly, you may also contact the South Dakota Department of Social Services (800) 227-3020, Child Protective Services (877) 244-0864, to file a formal complaint about licensing or safety concerns. In emergencies or after-hours contact Local Law Enforcement.
